Round 5 cost $5,100 to run for roughly 300 students. That is about $17 to keep one girl connected and in class for a full three-month round.

How to give
Get in touch and we'll arrange it
AYLA does not yet have a hosted donation page, and we are not going to ask for card details through a website form. Email the leadership board and a volunteer will send you the current transfer details, or arrange to buy test coupons directly.
If you would rather give to a registered intermediary, several of AYLA’s existing partners fund the programme that way — tell us and we will point you at the right one.
A note on safety
No page on this site collects card numbers, bank details or identity documents, and no one from AYLA will ever ask you for them over social media. If a message claiming to be from AYLA asks you for payment details, it is not from us — forward it to afgy.led@gmail.com.

Monthly mobile data so a girl can attend live classes. The barrier students report most often.

Duolingo English Test coupons, and German B1/B2 examination fees.

Support for team members inside Afghanistan
Small stipends for AYLA members in-country, as Ideas Beyond Border funded in Round 5.

Platform and tooling costs
The accounts and software the classes and design courses run on.
AYLA has no paid teaching staff. The one exception to “no salaries” is the small monthly support Ideas Beyond Border funded for five team members inside Afghanistan during Round 5 — recorded openly in that round’s report.
